KYLIE FASHION — JUNE 4 (USA)
To celebrate K25 Kylie has been working with Thames & Hudson on a book that showcases her 25 year career through fashion.
“This book charts my relationship with some of the most talented people in fashion throughout my career. It makes me very proud to see gathered together all the great designers and houses I’ve worked with over the years. Looking through my personal archives has been a real trip down memory lane and it is the fashion that brings back moments and memories of the last twenty-five years. I can’t wait to share this book with the world.”

At heart, I have always been a coper, I’ve mostly been able to walk around with my wounds safely hidden, and I’ve always stored up my deep depressive episodes for the weeks off when there was time to have an abbreviated version of a complete breakdown. But in the end, I’d be able to get up and on with it, could always do what little must be done to scratch by.

Launched by four creative guys who wanted to do something to help people who have been affected by cancer.Memories will look at the thoughts and experiences of individuals who have survived cancer, as well as those of people who have lost loved ones. There will be ten stories inside, each looking at one person’s recollection of a particular day in the struggle against cancer. For each of these ‘memories’ a dozen leading artists, illustrators and designers will be creating their own visual response. Two further stories will go ‘open brief’ and we’ll be inviting creatives worldwide to make their own images to accompany the text. The best submissions will go into the book.
That makes for 12 touching stories, and 144 smashing pieces of artwork!Including a fantastic selection of the world’s most talented illustrators, the book includes our very own Tatiana Arocha, Simon Spilsbury, dust, Shotopop,Ahoy There and Sarah J Coleman (Inky Mole).
Memories is out now to pre order with proceeds of sales going to Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres charity
