Speak properly, and in as few words as you can, but always plainly; for the end of speech is not ostentation, but to be understood.

That’s the thing about depression: A human being can survive almost anything, as long as they see the end in sight. But depression is so insidious, and it compounds daily, that it’s impossible to ever see the end.

Who needs a fairytale?

In the end, I only
want to be happy,
with a guy I love,
and who loves me
just as much.

That’s all I need.

Do not tell everyone your story. You will only end up feeling more rejected. People cannot give you what you long for in your heart.

It doesn’t matter if what you did is right or wrong because at the end of the day the thing that will matter the most, is whether you found happiness in what you did.

If a relationship is going to work,
it will require compromise and,
even then, it is not always
going to end the way
you want it
to.

The end of a wedding reception is always so depressing. And only the bride and groom are spared, jetting off into the sunset while the rest of us wake up the next morning to just another day.

The horror you face today will become the funny story you tell tomorrow.
In the end, everything is overcome and a life is lived.

Our story has three parts: a beginning, a middle, and an end. And although this is the way all stories unfold, I still can’t believe that ours didn’t go on forever.
