Freedom ‘90 - Revisited

Well it looks like the road to heaven,
But it feels like the road to hell.
When I knew which side my bread was buttered,
I took the knife as well.

Posing for another picture,
Everybody’s got to sell.
But when you shake your ass,
They notice fast,
And some mistakes were built to last.

That’s what you get.

I say that’s what you get.

That’s what you get for changing your mind.

And after all this time,
I just hope you understand:
Sometimes the clothes do not make the man.

antidoteldn:

Crystal CG has created a suitably ice-cool animated intro sequence for events at the London 2012 Olympic Velodrome, set to a specially-composed Chemical Brothers track. This sums up the energy and the high-velocity drama of the track cycling events exactly. Can’t stop watching it.

Soldiers have been drafted in to fill empty seats at the London 2012 Olympics after prime blocks of seating at the Aquatics Centre and gymnastics arena went unused on the first day of competition.

Troops were despatched to the North Greenwich Arena this morning to take up seats left empty by accredited officials from Olympic and sporting federations, as well as some sponsors and members of the media. More troops, many of whom had their leave cancelled to provide emergency cover after the organisers failed to find enough security guards, will be issued with last-minute invites to take seats in venues when blocks of seats are found to be empty, the games organisers said this morning

AGAIN: an UPDATE

I have spent countless hours on the website, to no avail.

I want to go to the Olympic Park & I want to visit The Orbit, so I need 2 tickets for the same day.

I want to soak up some atmosphere & support Team GB & get some amazing photographs.

(according to my tracker app, i have spent, in total, 480 hours on the website)

Olympic officials have said that there are 100,000 to 150,000 tickets still available for Olympic events, excluding football. The London organising committee said they will be no new kiosks set up to sell them – so how can desperate fans get their hands on the remaining tickets?
