My interpretation of the view from the terrace at The Gun, Docklands
With a desire to find something different for lunch Adam and I left the office and walked to Docklands eastern shore and The Gun Pub. Combining the best of British pubs atmosphere with olde world and new the Gun provides an excellent setting and a reminder that not every restaurant needs to drug you with MSG to guarantee a return visit.Move from the toasty open wood fire in the warm wooded bars out to the terrace and enjoy a spectacular river vista and a full view of the O2. Watch Gondolas bobbing in the background as London’s travellers opt to hoist their Oysters for a discount on the Emirates Airline.
If it’s too far for you to walk and you don’t fancy driving then The Gun will pick you up and drop you off too. How many restaurants do you know will do that for you?

You can see the pathway over the dome for walkers to walk up, over & down ala Sydney Harbour Bridge
& the south Cable Car Pillar, for the Emirates Airline, over the River Thames from Royal Victoria Dock to The O2.
